Kirti Mehta is a Mumbai-based artist known for her evocative mixed-media and resin paintings that explore themes of spirituality, harmony, and transformation. Her works are characterized by luminous layers, intricate textures, and a balance of contemporary elegance with cultural depth.
Kirti’s journey into art began unexpectedly while she was preparing for her Chartered Accountancy finals. Painting offered her a sense of calm amidst the intensity of studies, eventually blossoming into a full-fledged passion. In September 2016, she debuted at the prestigious City Palace, Udaipur. The exhibition opened to overwhelming success: her first two paintings were sold within an hour to Indian-origin NRIs, and her work caught the attention of Maharana Mewar himself, leading to a personal meeting and discussions about creating art for the royal palace. This turning point convinced her to leave her career in accountancy and pursue art full-time.
Since then, Kirti has created a diverse body of work and has exhibited both online and offline across India. Her art has been commissioned by prominent corporates, hospitality venues, and private collectors, with her practice extending to immersive, site-specific installations. She frequently collaborates with her husband, Keyur Mehta, under their studio “Life Onn Canvass,” where his creative direction complements her artistic vision to create narrative-driven projects.
Kirti’s works are more than visual statements; they are experiences. Each painting is designed to not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of a space but also to evoke an emotional and spiritual connection. Using premium materials like resin, textural layers, and gold foiling, she ensures every piece is crafted with both technical excellence and conceptual depth.
